Desconocida Kush is a very interesting creation by Delicious Seeds. It’s a 50% indica / 50% sativa hybrid, created for medicinal purposes, but with an incredibly high percentage of THC. One of Desconocida Kushs parents is a legendary American sativa - Bay 11 - a bestseller in Californian marijuana dispensaries, and also a winner of the prestigious High Times Cannabis Cup award in 2011. The other parent remains somewhat of a mystery and unknown to the public by the order of Delicious Seeds, although they have revealed that it is a high-grade Kush strain. The Spanish translation for “unknown” is Desconocida, hence this secretive strains name. Desconocida Kush falls into the medium-sized plant category, with its compact structure and pale green complexion of leaves and buds. It produces big, delicious-looking, dense nuggets, covered with copious amounts of resin and pistils. When planted indoors, it takes about 55-60 days to fully ripen, yielding a decent 450-500g/m² of flowers. Outdoor harvest is halfway through October, with an estimated 800g/plant. When properly cured, the succulent buds of Desconocida Kush produce a pleasant and smooth smoke, with an incredibly rich and complex aroma of Haze and recognizable Kush notes, cherished by many connoisseurs. The taste of the buds hints at slightly metallic incense and a citrus bouquet. This flavourful hybrid hides a stunning 21% of THC. It induces an intense, meditative and spiritual high, administering to those who partake in smoking Desconocida Kush a mental balance and rested mind. Besides its otherworldly cerebral high, it has great medicinal and therapeutic properties and is often prescribed to combat sleeping and eating disorders, as well as alleviating pain and stress.
