Sweet almond oil

Sweet almond oil is extracted from almond trees native to central and southwestern Asia. For centuries, this oil has been used for massages to soothe dry skin and treat minor wounds.

This natural antioxidant and emollient is a superb source of vitamin E, and also contains vitamin A, proteins, zinc, potassium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Its high concentration of nutrients makes sweet almond oil effective in keeping skin beautifully soft and hydrated throughout the day.

Ginseng root extract

Ginseng root extract, or ginseng, is a type of short perennial plant which belongs to the genus Panaz in the Araliaceae family. Ginseng can be found in cooler climates, such as North America, Bhutan, Korea and eastern Siberia. However, certain species also grow in warmer regions. Rich in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, this popular herbal supplement has a number of notable benefits for the skin.

One of the most well-known ways that Ginseng interacts with the skin is through managing overactive oil glands and preventing clogged pores. As a result, dead skin cells can be cleared to make way for new, healthy skin cells. Ginseng is also known to be a natural complexion booster, encouraging the appearance of nourished, glowing skin.

Lavender

Lavender is a small, sweet-smelling purple shrub from the mint family. The flowers and oil found in lavender are widely harvested for use in herbal medicines and aromatherapy products.

Lavender can be taken orally, inhaled, or applied topically onto the skin, such as through our CBD Body Cream. We’ve selected this versatile essential oil due to its calming scent and anti-inflammatory, skin-smoothing properties.

CBD

CBD stands for cannabidiol, a natural compound that occurs within the hemp plant. All of our Infused products contain our premium-quality CBD extract which can be safely applied to the skin for natural balance and support.

All of the CBD we use is expertly extracted from naturally sourced Colorado hemp. Each batch of CBD is then independently lab-tested to ensure it meets the Vitality CBD standard. You can view our laboratory reports at any time on our lab testing page, enabling you to safely choose CBD cosmetics with the knowledge of what your product contains.

AnnonaSense

At Vitality CBD, we’re always researching innovative, natural solutions for everyday skincare. That’s why we’ve selected AnnonaSense as our second lead ingredient in all of our Infused products, a brand new activator of the CB2-receptor, and a natural collaborator with CBD.

Currently only available in the UK cosmetics market, AnnonaSense is extracted from Cherimoya, a highly acclaimed ingredient known for its high concentration of antioxidants, vitamin C and proteins. We harvest this potent fruit in a sustainable manner from its natural home in the Amazon rainforest and the Andes.

Argan Stem Cells

Our third lead ingredient, Argan Stem Cells, have been formulated through advanced laboratory technology which is able to reproduce plant cells. Similar to CBD, Argan is derived from a well-known plant source, promoting further natural skincare.

We include Argan Stem Cells in all our Infused products due to their proven skin-smoothing and skin-protecting properties. Argan Stem Cells are often only used in anti-aging creams, yet they can support a wide variety of cosmetic products.

By promoting collagen synthesis, skin elasticity and plumpness can be improved; revitalising skin for a fresher appearance.
