Salicylic acid

We’ve included salicylic acid in our CBD Anti-blemish cream to keep your skin feeling and looking its healthiest.

Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) which works to penetrate the skin’s pores and dissolve the bond between skin cells on the surface. This ingredient is praised for its deep cleaning and exfoliating abilities, working to clear, refresh, and renew the skin’s appearance. As a result, pores are left unclogged and more defended against breakouts, including whiteheads and blackheads. Salicylic acid is also known to reduce oily skin and subsequently blemishes by reducing sebum secretion, a substance which is discharged by sebaceous glands on the skin.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)

Niacinamide, or Vitamin B3, is a vital nutrient in helping to retain healthy, clear looking skin. We use an exceptional 2% concentration of Niacinamide in our CBD Anti-blemish cream, which is among one of the most optimum levels for this active ingredient to interact with the skin.

You’ll be able to find this powerful vitamin in superfoods like kale, as well as protein-rich foods such as meat, fish and eggs. Of course, this essential vitamin is utilised greatly in skincare products too, including our CBD Anti-blemish cream!

When applied topically, niacinamide acts to visibly reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and restore weakened skin, helping to amplify your skin’s natural beauty in the process.

Niacinamide is also a fantastic hydrator with the ability to strengthen your skin’s natural barrier and help it retain moisture for longer.

Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel)

Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract is derived from a shrub native to North America, aptly named the Hamamelis virginiana plant. The leaves and bark from this plant can be used in teas, ointments, and skincare products such as our CBD Anti-blemish cream!

Rich in tannins, gallic acid as well as an abundance of antioxidants, witch hazel is known to target damaged and irritated skin to ease inflammation, reduce flakiness, and restore natural suppleness. In doing so, witch hazel has the potential to fight against bacteria, help repair broken skin, and even improve wound healing.

CBD

CBD stands for cannabidiol, a natural compound that occurs within the hemp plant. All of our Infused products contain our premium-quality CBD extract which can be safely applied to the skin for natural balance and support.

All of the CBD we use is expertly extracted from naturally sourced Colorado hemp. Each batch of CBD is then independently lab-tested to ensure it meets the Vitality CBD standard. AnnonaSense

At Vitality CBD, we’re always researching innovative, natural solutions for everyday skincare. That’s why we’ve selected AnnonaSense as our second lead ingredient in all of our Infused products, a brand new activator of the CB2-receptor, and a natural collaborator with CBD.

Currently only available in the UK cosmetics market, AnnonaSense is extracted from Cherimoya, a highly acclaimed ingredient known for its high concentration of antioxidants, vitamin C and proteins. We harvest this potent fruit in a sustainable manner from its natural home in the Amazon rainforest and the Andes.

Argan Stem Cells

Our third lead ingredient, Argan Stem Cells, have been formulated through advanced laboratory technology which is able to reproduce plant cells. Similar to CBD, Argan is derived from a well-known plant source, promoting further natural skincare.

We include Argan Stem Cells in all our Infused products due to their proven skin-smoothing and skin-protecting properties. Argan Stem Cells are often only used in anti-aging creams, yet they can support a wide variety of cosmetic products.

By promoting collagen synthesis, skin elasticity and plumpness can be improved; revitalising skin for a fresher appearance.
