All of the parent plants in this strain’s background are noted for being tough, low-maintenance, productive varieties with high THC content. White Label Girl Scout Cookies retains all these qualities making it an easy cannabis seed-strain for novices and an ideal choice for more experienced growers who can bring it to its full, impressive potential. GSC feminized cannabis seeds produce uniform plants which flower in 9 to 10 weeks. This strain gains a good amount of height in flowering, improving yield, without becoming uncontrollable.
Outdoor and greenhouse-grown plants can easily reach 200 or 250cm in height by their October harvest time. Indoors, cuttings can be flowered at around 30-40cm in order to attain a final height of 100cm. Flowering original seed plants at the same height is likely to result in plants around 125cm tall at harvest time. White Label Girl Scout Cookies feminized cannabis seeds grow into plants with strong, productive branching. Branches tend to grow upwards rather than outwards, allowing indoor plants to be grown quite close together.
Flowering patterns of White Label GSC show strong influence from both the Indica and Sativa sides of its heritage. Calyxes multiply rapidly and swell in size, forming strings which twist around each other to create spiky floral clusters. These continue to expand throughout the second half of flowering, running along stem and branches to close the gaps between internodes, forming long, sticky colas with a gorgeous bubbly appearance.
Thanks to its Afghan heritage, Girl Scout Cookies often takes on violet hues in the later flowering period, with dark purple leaves and lavender highlights on the base of calyxes. At harvest time and after drying, the buds of this strain display a combination of purple and green foliage, bright orange pistils and sparkling white and golden resin glands, making them a visual treat to match their potency and flavour.
After harvest, the flowers of White Label Girl Scout Cookies remain impressively large, due to the fat calyxes from which they’re formed. Even when completely dry, GSC’s extra thick coating of trichomes makes buds sticky to the touch, and they can easily gum up scissors and grinders with THC-rich resin. This strain’s aroma is subtle until flower clusters are broken up, releasing their terpenes. Dominant flavours include pine, sandalwood and rich, sweet earthy notes, with a background of sweet fruit and, citrus, mint and aniseed.
The potent Kush background and higher CBD production of Girl Scout Cookies makes it a popular strain in US dispensaries.
