Digweed by House of the Great Gardener is a very satisfying cannabis strain to grow. A Sweet Tooth x Afghani cross means there is an eclectic lineage at work in the genes of Digweed. When mature, well formed stacks of prominent calyxes nestle together to form stretched pine cone shaped flowers. Firm to the touch when squeezed they release a vibrant aroma.
Named after the H.O.G.G cannabis eating cat, Digweed displays the Afghani influence during the vegetative growth stage. Indoors or outdoors the plant responds to contemporary nutrient and training techniques with rapid growth of many closely spaced branches. From some angles the foliage can have a bluish tinge and the plants surprise you with noticeable growth on a daily basis. Growing outdoors in a warmer climate lets the sativa side of the equation kick in a bit stronger. Echoes of the chocolate Thai grandparents loving the longer hotter days. First, they put on a stretch show then finish with large tight buds that are very pleasing to the eye.
Hybrid vigour and pest resistance compliment high pathogen tolerance in this hardy indica/sativa cross. Digweed is a trouble and disease free grow that rewards with numerous clusters of weighty glistening nuggets. During trimming substantial bud specific leaf material can be left on as the trichome population is so thick. Heavy resin production means leaves cure with a crisp psychotropic veneer.
Finishing in a rapid 49 days the attentive grower will be blown away by how wide these flowers can get in such a short time. Support them well in the early stages to make sure there is no precious trichome loss during later resin development. Within their swollen glands they contain 13.5% THC and 0.5% CBD. An ideal combination for chronic pain, muscle spasms and stress management.
